Ignatius House - Benning Construction Company

Benning Construction Company has a long history of philanthropic involvement in the community.

When Ted Benning served on the Board of Directors of Ignatius House retreat center, he led the Center’s master planning process and closely supervised Benning’s construction of the Center’s new 4,000 s.f administration building.

Benning Construction Company has partnered with multiple non-profit organizations throughout its history for short term projects.  Benning Construction partnered with  L’Arche International, an organization that operates 140 homes for the mentally disabled, to transform a nearly 90 year old house in Decatur, GA into a home for people with developmental disabilities.

Benning Construction has an ongoing relationship with Good Samaritan Health Center of Atlanta, an organization which provides a comprehensive range of medical, dental and mental health services to the homeless and working poor. Benning completed a $5,000,000 medical office building for the organization and to this day assists the organization in their building maintenance needs.
