Allen V. George

Treasurer

Attended West Georgia College, BBA Accounting.

From 1967 to 1974, worked during summers as laborer, carpenter and layout man on residential and light commercial construction jobs.

From 1974 to 1983 employed by Southwire Company and its subsidiary, Richards & Associates, in various financial and accounting positions. These duties included conducting internal audits, maintaining a perpetual inventory system, development standard cost, and preparing financial statements at operational, divisional and corporate levels.

From 1983 to 1985, employed by Stratton & Company as controller. Duties included supervision of all accounting staff, preparation of financial statements, job cost reports, various government reports and tax returns.

From 1985 to present, employed by Benning Construction Company in various capacities starting as a staff accountant and progressing to Treasurer. Currently Member of Benning Construction Company Board of Directors.

Mr. George is married to Shirley Hulsey of Dallas, Georgia. He has two sons, Allen and Nathan and three grandchildren.
